The International Communion of the African Episcopal Church

“One Communion. Many Traditions. United by Christ, Culture, and Sacrament.”

An Ancient Faith for a New Generation

The International Communion of the African Episcopal Church (ICAEC) is a global, Spirit-filled family of believers who worship in the historic liturgical tradition while celebrating the cultural beauty of Africa and her Diaspora.

We proclaim the unchanging Gospel of Jesus Christ through Scripture, Sacrament, and the Holy Spirit, honoring our African identity as sacred, not secondary.

We are a Communion for those who seek heritage without hierarchy, unity without uniformity, and belonging without borders.

OUR VISION & IDENTITY

Three Vision Pillars

Unity Without Walls

The Fellowship of Afro-Episcopal Churches (FAEC) is the ecumenical branch of our Communion, a sacred space for clergy, congregations, and believers who share our Afro-Episcopal vision yet wish to retain their denominational standing.
Through the Fellowship, you can:
  • Remain in your denomination while engaging in Afro-Episcopal worship and community.
  • Join a network of like-minded ministers and churches celebrating culture, liturgy, and mission.
  • Share resources, conferences, and ministry partnerships across the global body of Christ.

Help us achieve our Mission to Africa.

Our journey will take a small delegation and much needed assistance and relief to our churches on the African Continent.
Whatever amount you donate provides our brethren with tools and skills to empower the people of God being served there. Your prayers and contributions are highly appreciated.
